Delete your account
You can delete your Tho account yourself, from inside the app. If you can no longer sign in, email us and we will do it for you.
In the app
- Open Tho and sign in.
- Open the menu, then Settings.
- Tap Delete account, and confirm.
Your sign-in is removed straight away and the email address becomes free to use again. If you run a salon on Tho, close or transfer it first — the app will stop you, because deleting an owner would leave their staff and bookings with nobody attached.
By email, if you cannot sign in
Email chemsbhai@gmail.com from the address on the account, with "Delete my account" as the subject. We will delete it within 30 days and reply to confirm.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in — email, password and every active session. The email address is freed for reuse.
- Your name, phone number and photo — removed from your profile.
- Saved salons, and the stylists you follow — deleted.
- Your messages to salons — deleted, and the salon's chat list stops showing your name.
- Notifications and reminders — deleted, along with the record of the device they were sent to.
What a salon keeps, without your name on it
A salon has to account for its own trading — what work it did, when, and what it charged. Those records stay, with everything that identifies you taken off them, so they read as “Deleted user”:
- Appointments that took place — the service, the time and the price, which a salon needs for its takings, its staff pay and its tax figures.
- Reviews you left — these form part of a salon's public rating.
- Loyalty points a salon issued you — their own record of what they had promised.
None of these carry your name, phone number, email address or photo once your account is deleted, and none of them can be traced back to you through Tho.
